
AB QUINTANILLA

While living in Lake Jackson, Texas, A.B. Quintanilla learned to play the guitar and bass, and formed the band Selena y Los Dinos with his family, also serving as producer and co-writer of hits like "Como la flor" and "Amor prohibido." He produced songs such as "Cómo te extraño," which won a Premio Lo Nuestro, and founded the group Kumbia Kings, with which he toured internationally. After a dispute, he left the band in 2006 and created Kumbia All Starz, achieving new hits. He has also produced for artists like Thalía and organized the televised tribute "Selena ¡VIVE!" in 2005.
