Niño Viejo is the musical project of Baruch Argil from Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico. His music blends indie rock, folk, garage and power-pop to create melancholic, reflective soundscapes. His album *Amor* was released in July 2024 and produced with assistance from Ed Maverick and Caleb Zazueta at the “Hoy Es Un Buen Día” studio. His intimate performance style and lyrics about nostalgia and the future make him a compelling pick for a festival seeking fresh Latin-American indie talent.
